Abstract:A dynamic pavementtire friction model incorporated with water film thickness, aircraft velocity, tire pressure, pavement texture amplitude and slip ratio is proposed based on average lumped Lugre Friction Model. The friction models now available with a consideration of water film thickness could not be calibrated by the field measuring data and used for dynamic friction analysis. The parameters adopted by the proposed model could be obtained by laboratory tests, nonlinear regression and other methods. Based on the field measurement at Shanghai Pudong International Airport, the proposed model was calibrated. The results show that the calibrated model obtains high prediction accuracy, which can be used for dynamic friction analysis and convenient for runway safety management.
