Abstract:The 3D Finite Element Method (FEM) model of connecting rod assembly for offroad turbocharged diesel engine was established. And, nonlinear analysis was made of connecting rod assembly for offroad turbocharged diesel engine.Moreover, the fatigue safety coefficient under the fourth strength theory was calculated. The result shows that connectingrod can satisfy the strength requirement, and the fatigue safety coefficient of the transition area between small end and connectingrod body is lower than that of other sites,and thus the transition area is more dangerous than other positions.
