    Abstract:

Based on studies of lowpressure proton exchange membrane(PEM) fuel cell with orthogonal test,a conclusion is drawn that the effects on fuel cell performance by hydrogen humidity and equivalent proportion are so small that they can be neglected compared to the effects of air humidity, air equivalent proportion and fuel cell operating temperature. The effect on fuel cell performance by air equivalent proportion, the most complicated one among the five operating parameters of fuel cell, changes with the working condition of fuel cell. With the increasing of current, the effect on fuel cell performance by air equivalent proportion is strengthening. When the current reaches a higher level(120A),the impact will be weakened.
