Visiblelight photocatalysis composite adsorption material was prepared by combining activated carbon and nitrogendoped TiO2 by impregnation method.The study results show that the droped nitrogen in TiO2 has improved the visiblelight absorption activity,the activated carbon adsorption is a plausible method for the removal of formaldehyde in the air,the loading of nitrogendoped TiO2 on activated carbon has trifling effect to adsorption process in low concentration of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) condition and nitrogendoped TiO2activated carbon material has excellent visiblelight photocatalytic activity.The results show that this kind of material splits absorption and photocatalysis apart and improve the reuse performance of activated carbon.
