    Abstract:

Visiblelight photocatalysis composite adsorption material was prepared by combining activated carbon and nitrogendoped TiO2 by impregnation method. The study results show that the droped nitrogen in TiO2 has improved the visiblelight absorption activity, the activated carbon adsorption is a plausible method for the removal of formaldehyde in the air,the loading of nitrogendoped TiO2 on activated carbon has trifling effect to adsorption process in low concentration of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) condition and nitrogendoped TiO2activated carbon material has excellent visiblelight photocatalytic activity. The results show that this kind of material splits absorption and photocatalysis apart and improve the reuse performance of activated carbon.
