    Abstract:

    The paper presents a review of the research developments of fluidization behavior of postliquefied soils and a discussion on the phenomenon and mechanism of fluidization.Then,two constitutive models adopted in liquefaction analysis,the pseudoplastic and the Bingham models,are introduced.Also,a further study is made on hydrodynamical characteristics of liquefied soils to modify the fluidmodels on the basis of the engineering practice.Finally,a solidliquidair multiphase flow model is proposed to be developed in a future unified analysis of liquefied soils.
