    Abstract:

    The thermal environment in a vehicle cabin with passengers is simulated.Boundary temperatures for computational fluid dynamics (CFD) calculation are provided by numerical human model created with lumped-heat-capacity method.In the CFD simulation,hexahedral mesh and SIMPLE algorithm is applied.Natural convection and wall radiation are taken into consideration.An experiment on a real car is executed to validate the simulation.
