Abstract:

Accident reconstruction is an effective method to study the causes of child occupant injury in traffic accident.On the basis of “mean acceleration”,a typical traffic accident with child occupant is simulated by PCCrash and MADYMO.Child occupant movements and injury risks during the impact are well performed.A qualitative analysis on the causes of child occupant injuries in this accident is carried out and described.
