    Abstract:

    This paper aims to find out the pedestrian movement distributing ratios around railway station street network based on the relationship between integration R3 of space syntax axial model and pedestrian movement. In order to avoid the influence of other factors on the estimated result, 8 suburban subway stations in Shanghai rail transit system of China are chosen for case studies. And their 24 entrances’s distribution coefficients of passenger flow are calculated with this new proposed method. Based on the investigation of pedestrian traffic, the validity, the availability and limitation of the new estimated method are analyzed.
