Flow Field of Four in wheel motor Driven Vehicle

Abstract:

To analyze the flow fields of an electric driven vehicle with four in wheel motor, the computational results of flow fields were obtained with front end airflow simulation, so the external flow around the wheels of an in wheel motor vehicle in detail conditions was obtained. At the same time, the results of an in wheel motor vehicle and a conventional vehicle were compared for local and global flow fields. Furthermore, the ventilation of in wheel motor system was annlyzed, which provided aerodynamic data for thermal dissipation of brake and in wheel motor.
