    Abstract:

    This paper points out the quality factor Q of rock mass is independent of wave frequency in certain frequency range through reference reviewing. Then, the relationships between Q value and the frequency for the three parameter standard linear solid model and the Zhu Wang Tang (ZWT) Model are derived in detail. ZWT Model, which can get a constant Q in certain frequency scope, is more suitable to simulate the property of rock mass. Finally, the calculation method for the ZWT Model parameters is explored. Results show that it’s a reasonable way to evaluate the model parameters by using the physical meaning of each element.
