    Abstract:

    A reinforced concrete (RC) non linear grid model method is established by inserting the calculation section into the structure to achieve the sectional stress redistribution analysis. It considers the flexure and shear mechanism respectively, and describes the behavior of RC slender and deep beams from the cracking to the failure. Thus, it realizes a unified analysis model for RC shallow and deep beams. Several examples illustrate the accuracy of the capacity calculation by the non linear grid model method. The grid model method can also reflect the mechanical behavior of RC beams and provide design parameters.
