    Abstract:

    The calculation method of fluid structure interaction is used for finite element analysis of the high speed buses’ polyvinyl butyral(PVB) windshield, and the laws of the wind induced vibration characteristics of glass are obtained, also the relationships among the windshield thickness, deformation and stress are obtained. Research results show that the deformation increases significantly while the thickness decreases, but the stress changes irregularly. The results of this study can provide a theoretical scientific basis for the optimal design of the windshield of high speed buses and trains.
