    Abstract:

In this paper, an ultrahigh ductile cementitious composite (UHDCC)with a mixture of reactive powder is prepared based on the design concept of fracture mechanics. High strength and high modulus polyethylene fiber is used as reinforced materials in the composite. Axial compression test, elastic modulus test and fourpoint bending test are conducted to prove that the ultimate tensile stress strength of the material is up to 20 MPa, the corresponding average tensile strain is close to 9%, and the axial compressive strength exceeds 110 MPa. It is proved by fourpoint bending test that the flexural performance of UHDCC beam reaches the level of ordinary reinforced concrete beam with 1.5% reinforcement ratio and its ductility is good.
