Abstract:

This paper focuses on the density quantification of the highdensity urban blocks by selecting 30 highdensity urban block samples from the central urban area in Shanghai to study the morphological density and its related parameters and obtain the spatial pattern distribution and spatial morphological types. The conclusion can provide support for morphological quantitative research for planning and urban design practices.
