    Abstract:

    The 3D Finite Element Method (FEM) model of connecting rod assembly for offroad turbocharged diesel engine was established. And, nonlinear analysis was made of connecting rod assembly for offroad turbocharged diesel engine.Moreover, the fatigue safety coefficient under the fourth strength theory was calculated. The result shows that connectingrod can satisfy the strength requirement, and the fatigue safety coefficient of the transition area between small end and connectingrod body is lower than that of other sites,and thus the transition area is more dangerous than other positions.
