    Abstract:

Given the structural type of large span roof and the characteristic of slipping construction process of spatial structures, numerical computation method is presented based on the nonlinear finite element theory.Construction process analysis software was developed for large scale and complex steel structures. This software system can simulate the whole process of construction of spatial structure with a consideration of the construction process, construction load, boundary condition and prestress.Comparison with the general finite element method proves that the results of the method are accurate enough for engineering. And spot monitoring test for the slipping construction process of spatial structural roof of national stadium demonstrates the reliability and rationality of the presented numerical theory, which can provide reference for the construction of large span spatial structures.
