Track Geometry Equality Index and Its Application

Abstract:

Track geometry equality index (TGEI),a new evaluation index reflecting the standard deviation change trend of the track geometric irregularity in unit management division,is put forward to evaluate the equality of track geometric status.Based on the track geometric data from JinPu railway line,the TGEI and other methods or indexes for track geometric status evaluation,an analysis is made of the track geometric equality and the sensitivity of track geometric data before and after track maintenance work,and the validity of TGEI is confirmed.Subsequently,the characteristics and application scope of TGEI are analyzed based on the above descriptions.
