City Eco environment Quality Assessment Based on GIS and RS

Abstract:

Based on a case study of Minhang district of Shanghai,a city ecological environment quality index system is established,which covers the society,economy and the nature and so on.The weight of indicators is decided according to experts’ advice and the method of analytic hierarchy process.With the vector based spatial overlapping method,an investigation is made into the spatial variation and its causes for eco environment single factor and multi factor.The study result offers a decision support for city ecological development.
