A Two-stage Efficiency Evaluation Model for Logistics Industry in Terms of Producing Process

Abstract:

To solve the "black box" issue in the efficiency evaluation of the logistics industry， the production process of the logistics industry was divided into investment transformation stage and society service stage. An efficiency evaluation model of a two-stage network structure for the logistics industry was proposed with the consideration of undesired output. To prove the rationality and effectiveness， the proposed model was applied to China’s regional logistics industries. Some policy suggestions were provided for improving efficiency for the logistics industry.
