Abstract:The average daily flow of visitors during the period of World Expo 2010 Shanghai China,and peakday and peakhour quantity of visitors of Expo 2010 as well,were estimated by the method of equalproportion estimation.According to the data of timedistribution in the process of visitors’ behavior,the admission standards of Expo 2010 pavilions were extrapolated.On the basis of the possibility analysis of the Expo visitors’ ordinary behavior pattern,four types of exhibition models of pavilion visitors are made.A further analysis is made of the impact on the space of Expo pavilions and the way to make it valid.

Abstract:Based on an energy release ratebased plasticdamage model and probability density evolution method (PDEM),an investigation of the shortleg shear walls with dual binding beams is conducted on the Pcures,concrete and reinforcement strains,concrete damages and crosssectional internal forces in the frame of stochastic damage mechanics for concrete.Nonlinear stochastic evolution of structures is described through sample tracks,ensemble numerical characteristics and probability density.Multipeaks and multiridges phenomenon appear in probability density function evolution surfaces of the different response level,which roots in couple of randomicity and nonlinearity.It can also be concluded that randomicity and certainty may transform into each other in the process of structural response evolution.

Abstract:The paper presents the elastic bending theory by taking shear deformation for composite bridge with corrugated steel web.Based on displacement field assumption,internal force equilibrium equations,the deformation compatibility condition,the relationship of deformation and internal force,and analytical solutions are obtained according to boundary and load condition.Simply supported Iand boxgirder bridge with corrugated steel web are analyzed with elastic bending theory considering shear deformation, their predicted results are found in good agreement with those of the finite element analysis and model test.A limit value of depthspan ratio is suggested,whether the influence of shear deformation being considered or not.A simplified formula of deflection in middle span is presented to guide deflection design.

Abstract:Given the structural type of large span roof and the characteristic of slipping construction process of spatial structures,numerical computation method is presented based on the nonlinear finite element theory.Construction process analysis software was developed for large scale and complex steel structures.This software system can simulate the whole process of construction of spatial structure with a consideration of the construction process,construction load,boundary condition and prestress.Comparison with the general finite element method proves that the results of the method are accurate enough for engineering.And spot monitoring test for the slipping construction process of spatial structural roof of national stadium demonstrates the reliability and rationality of the presented numerical theory,which can provide reference for the construction of large span spatial structures.

Abstract:Based on the study on the high order singlestep pseudodynamic testing algorithm,the high order single step algorithm featuring unconditionally stable good algorithm damping properties,a lack of transcendental phenomenon,and Δt5 of truncation error is applied to substructure pseudodynamic testing,and then the high order single step substructure pseudodynamic testing algorithm is proposed.The feasibility and superiority of the algorithm are verified with the numerical simulations of the substructure pseudodynamic testing algorithm comparison and the testing results of the fullscale framesupported reinforced concrete shortlimb masonry shell wall structure.

Abstract:With the fundamental solution that is suitable not only to isotropic media but also to orthotropic media,a new idea for solving the elastic problems of orthotropic bodies with different materials is proposed based on the virtual boundary element method for solving the problems of multidomain composite structure.The paper presents the numerical examples of orthotropic square plate with a hole and issue composed of isotropic media and orthotropic media.This algorithm proves feasible,effective and accurate.It can not only solve the multidomain problems of orthotropic media and the issue composed of isotropic media and orthotropic media,but also revertively solve the multidomain problems of isotropic media.

Abstract:A novel modal parameters identification method based on wavelet transform and singular value decomposition is proposed. Assuming that the structural system is timeinvariant and the ambient excitations are white noise, the covariance response of structural accelerations were calculated from response data measured at multiple locations of the structure; and wavelet transform was imposed to obtain the wavelet coefficient matrix of the covariance response.Then the singular value decomposition was adopted to decompose the wavelet coefficient matrix at each wavelet scale, and the modal parameters could be identified exactly from the singular value and singular vector.The formulations of the proposed method were derived and the method was verified by numerical simulation using 3 DOF structure.The results show that the method can be used to identify the modal parameters of multidegree of freedom structure and the accuracy is better than that using a conventional wavelet transform method.

Abstract:Based on the shaking table model testing,the mesofabric characteristics of saturated sand are studied including macroaxis orientation for sand granules,average coordination numbers and porosity.Induced anisotropy of sand is analyzed by fabric features.The results show that under cyclic loading,sand granules continuously rearrange and redirect for the new stress state which results in decreasing cumulative coordination numbers and increasing porosity,and then liquefaction.The study is expected to contribute to disclosing the mesomechanism of sand liquefaction relating to the mesofabric and macro mechanical response of granular soils and developing mesomechanical models of granular media.

Abstract:Based on finite deformation theory of continuum mechanics,a strict form of continuity condition for onedimensional largestrain consolidation problems is proposed in terms of Eulerian description.The usual governing variables such as Almansi strain and void ratio are discussed respectively to establish a new strict form of continuity condition.The results show that the conventional simplified continuity condition can predict smaller values of both Almansi strain and its material time derivative,thus leading to a considerable underestimate of foundation settlement.It’s necessary to modify the conventional method of taking material derivative of Almansi strain directly as instantaneous rate of volume change of soil mass.

Abstract:As traditional pole system finite element method analysis and formula solution can not fully address the three dimensional (3D) concrete creep and local effect,a finite element method of 3D concrete creep is presented in this paper.First,the analysis principle and assumption are illustrated and computing process including six main components is explained with calculation flow illustrated.Then,based on this,a case model of reinforcing concrete column is analyzed; results including deformation,stress of rebar and concrete are compared with the Dischinger formula method.Also,the method is used to analyze the stirrups effect and local stress of the structure of which the distribution is timedependent.Finally,to assess the effect of shear stress to creep,a prestressed concrete beam is analyzed considering 3D creep,and the results agree well with the experiments.

Abstract:A giant highspeed landslide occurred in the Touzhai Gully of Yunnan province on September 23rd,1991.From the points of view of hydrokinetics,this paper presents an analysis of the mechanism of highspeed and long runout all over the course and several conclusions are drawn.In the setout stage,the coupling of pore water pressure and vapor pressure resulted in substantial reduction of the effective normal pressure at the slipped surface.In the shortrange stage,the highspeed sliding mass formed the aerofoil like aerodynamics effect.The high perceentage of the potential energy of the sliding mass was transferred into the kinetic energy.Consequently,the sliding mass flew over the small hill on the slope.In the long runout stage,due to the action of air vortex,the sliding mass changed the style of motion from flying to fragment flow,which was similar to the kinematic characteristics of debris flow at high speed.

Abstract:Based on the analysis of the fundamental characteristics of the field traffic system and traffic flow,this paper presents a new method of traffic flow prediction.The theory of wavelet analysis is applied to eliminating the noise from the realtime traffic data to better reflect a real traffic flow.Based on the processed traffic data,the timeseries model,autoregressive integrated moving average model(ARIMA)is used to predict traffic flows in different periods.Finally,the paper presents numerical examples on the field data to testify the the proposed model.

Abstract:In order to coordinate transportation capacity among overlap bus lines on passenger corridor,a bus coordination dispatching mode is put forward. And the corresponding bus headway optimization model is set up, which takes the maximum service efficiency of passenger corridor as the optimization goal,and the capacity of transit infrastructure and service level of passenger transport as the constraints. After the primal problem being transferred into a combinatorial optimization problem,genetic algorithm(GA) is designed to solve it.The practical case application shows that this method is benefit for intensively deploying transportation capacity of passenger corridor.

Abstract:Track geometry equality index (TGEI),a new evaluation index reflecting the standard deviation change trend of the track geometric irregularity in unit management division,is put forward to evaluate the equality of track geometric status.Based on the track geometric data from JinPu railway line,the TGEI and other methods or indexes for track geometric status evaluation,an analysis is made of the track geometric equality and the sensitivity of track geometric data before and after track maintenance work,and the validity of TGEI is confirmed.Subsequently,the characteristics and application scope of TGEI are analyzed based on the above descriptions.

Abstract:Based on the volume relationship of aggregate,asphalt, air voids (Va) and voids in mineral aggregate (VMA)in stone mastic asphalt (SMA),the relationship between VMA and asphalt content is discussed and an optimum asphalt content(OAC)equation is deduced.Besides,the influence of VMA on the gradation of SMA is analyzed.According to the deduced relationship of VMA,OAC and gradation,a modified SMA design procedure is proposed.First,VMA is determined as the technology required,and then both the OAC and a more accurate gradation range based on the determined VMA are obtained.Finally,three trail gradations are selected according to the narrowed gradation range;accordingly,specimens using the OAC are compacted.Of the three gradations,the one of the closest Va to 4% is selected as the optimum gradation.A case study is conducted and results show that the modified design procedure for SMA is quicker,simpler and more reliable than conventional design procedures for SMA.

Abstract:Based on the fundamental principle of Dynamic Shear Rheometer(DSR),the relationship between the complex shear modulus G*,phase angle δ and complex viscosity η*,dynamic viscosity η′ was established.Through the DSR tests of 7 types of SBS modified asphalts which are composed of one baseasphalt and 4 SBS polymers,the dosage and types effects of SBS on the dynamic viscosity η′ were discussed.The comparison of measured viscosity and estimated viscosity of η′=sin δ-4.862 8G*/ωat 60℃ shows that it is likely to get the lowtemperature viscosity of asphalt and modifiedasphalt with DSR method.

Abstract:The influence of Fe0/Fe2+/Fe3+ on the nitrobenzene (NB) anaerobic degradation was studied and the initial NB concentration,pH and glucose concentration affecting the degradation process of NB were investigated.The primary product of NB degradation was aniline,which significantly increased its biodegradability characteristics.NB in the anaerobic system was degraded completely at pH 6,but the initial NB concentration had no significant effect on NB degradation rate.A substantial proportion of NB was degraded by the anaerobic sludge in the mixed system of Fe0 and anaerobic sludge at pH 6.An accelerative effect on NB degradation came into being when adding Fe0 into the anaerobic system,and inhibited the NB degradation when adding Fe2+/Fe3+,especially Fe3+.When pH was shifted to pH 9,the existing Fe2+ and glucose in the system significantly promoted the NB degradation.

Abstract:The feature of energy consumption in Shanghai is analyzed and the total carbon emission, carbon sink and net volume of carbon emission in Shanghai are estimated. 12 scenarios of Shanghai’s future development are designed with the Scenario Analysis method. The result shows that main energy consumption is caused by industries in Shanghai.The carbon emission of Shanghai in 2005 reached 58.05 million tons carbon equivalent (Ceq). Meanwhile, the net carbon emission per ten thousand yuan of GDP declined to 0.58 tons Ceq in 2005, which shows that the strategies for carbon emission reduction in Shanghai are effective. The result of scenario analysis shows that carbon emission reduction of Shanghai is likely to be 111.04 million tons Ceq in 2020.

Abstract:Based on the existing life cycle inventory model,a new model and algorithm of energy upstream is put forward.The results of life cycle inventory therefore can be traced back to the terminal.Life cycle inventory analysis of energy upstream iterative calculations includes energy consumption and environmental emission not only involving mining, production but also transportation and distribution phases, providing a firm foundational platform for not only energy downstream phase but also the whole life cycle analysis of the energy system.Energy LCI model contains two hierarchies: the part of life process and the part of highorder cycle.The result shows LCEE and LCEC of secondary energy like power is larger than primary energy.Therefore,adjusting the energy structure and increasing proportion of clean and renewable energy in power generation are significant ways to reduce air pollution and greenhouse gas emissions.

Abstract:A power control strategy of compensation fuzzy neural network (CFNN) is put forward based on the design requirement of a hybrid electric vehicle (HEV) of Shanghai Volkswagken company,the proposed algorithm speeds up the convergence rate by adjusting step dynamically.An analysis is made of the influence of sample data selecting,fuzzy sets for input and output and the determination of fuzzy rules.Based on the redevelopment of the ADVISOR2002,a comparison is conducted on the CFNN control strategy,the electricassisted control strategy and the fuzzy logic control strategy.The simulation results show that the CFNN controller is of good selfadaptive ability and helpful to fuel economy and emission.

Abstract:The parameters in the Software Pccrash were analyzed in this paper. The work included: a carcar oblique impact model was designed, analysis and control variate method was used to acquire the key parameters and an orthogonal test was set to acquire the weights of these key parameters. Based on the parameters research the weights of the key parameters which influence the simulation result and the type of influence were obtained and used to seek the method for reducing traffic accident reconstruction Error.In addition,a typical traffic accident of fourwheel vehicletwowheel vehicle in China was reconstructed and confirmed the conclusion. The paper contributes to the further deep analysis about improving precision of traffic accident reconstruction in China with Pccrash.

Abstract:Combustion in a 350MW tangentially coalfired boiler and gassolid flow of pulverizedcoal burners are simulated.The numerical results show that the velocity difference of two channels are 6~9 m·s-1 in conventional biased pulverizedcoal concentration burners.A biased pulverizedcoal concentration burner with the same velocity of two channels is proposed, NOx emissions of which is 21.8%lower than that of the conventional linear flow pulverized coal burners,11.3% lower than that of the conventional biased pulverized coal concentration burners.

Abstract:Patitionbased reasoning(PBR) is a method of reasoning with partitions of related logical axioms. A new method of web service composition based on MP algorithm is proposed for improving the composition of web services that is located in different UDDIs,and the performance of the semantic reasoner in the process of web service composition.Thus the new method proves more efficient than the one based on traditional theorem proving.A method of extracting the process model from proof based on the idea of πcalculus is also introduced.To make use of the subtype relation provided by semantic reasoner,a new process to handle this process is defined systematically.

Abstract:The current existing search model is mainly limited to syntaxbased keyword matching.By establishing domain ontology as the way of knowledge organization,this paper introduces a novel information search model based on domain ontology in semantic context.Then, document semantic annotation algorithm (DRSAA) and keyword semantic expansion algorithm (KSEA) are presented.These two algorithms are utilized to analyze semantics of document set and comprehend semantic relations of user keyword respectively,which realizes the objective of bidirectional semantic information search.At last,extensive experimental results demonstrate that the proposed information search method can overcome disadvantages of keywordbased search and improve the search results.

Abstract:This paper presents a study of the price competition game among multiple service providers in a general network with elastic utility.The paper also presents the definition of a user equilibrium and the oligopoly equilibrium as the equilibrium prices set by the service provider and the corresponding user equilibrium.For a given price,a characterization of the user equilibrium of flow rates is elaborated under the Wardrop assumption.Furthermore,the oligopoly equilibrium is explicitly characterized,and its performance relative to the social optimum is studied.The study results show that the aggregate flow allocations at the oligopoly equilibrium are always less than and equal to the social equilibrium for each origindestination(OD) pair.

Abstract:Rational Function Model (RFM) is one of the universal imaging models with characteristic of sensor independency.The geopositioning solution based on Rational Polynomial Coefficients (RPC) is studied using QuickBird separateorbit stereo image pair in Shanghai district,China.The principle of RFMbased stereo positioning method is first introduced,and the positioning errors are then analyzed.Based on this,enhancing models are further presented for the improvement of geopositioning accuracy.The experimental results show that the affine model works best in the test area.The accuracy can reach to 0.6~0.8 m in planimetry and about 1.0 m in elevation based on the affine model by using 5~6 well distributed control points.

Abstract:Based on Maxwell equation,multiresolution of wavelets reverse time migration algorithm of GPR is derived according to the wavelet multiresolution decomposition theory and central difference format.The corresponding processing program is developed thereafter.Comparison of the radar data processing outcome by regulations Kirchhoff integration migration and 15° finite difference migration algorithm shows that the multiresolution of wavelets reverse time migration algorithm of GPR enjoys the merits that reflection wave returns to original position more accurately,migration outcome is more precise,imaging effection is all the better,there is no limitation to migration angle of inclination,and it is highly adaptable to noise.It can be enhanced dramatically by the algorithm,and can better serve the geological explanation of GPR section.

Abstract:Closedloop and openloop equilibria in duopoly differential games of advertising competition were used as the basis for empirical investigation.Two models of duopoly differential game were used in the empirical study of advertising competition between China Mobile and China Unicom.Results indicate that closedloop equilibria explain dynamic advertising competition better than openloop equilibria in most situations.
