      2011, 39(4):482-487. DOI: 10.3969/j.issn.0253-374x.2011.04.003

      Abstract (1241) HTML (47) PDF 1.44 M (816) Comment (0) Favorites

Abstract:Based on a test of 6 shear specimens,a research was made into the bearing capacity and failure process of the embedded composite beam. Test results show that the shear bearing capacity of the beam is influenced by the section of steel web, the section of concrete flange, the concrete grade and the shearspan ratio of concrete flange. Based on the test results and parametric analysis, the formulas to calculate the shear capacity of the concrete flange were developed. A simplified calculation method of shear bearing capacity was developed by taking the possibity into consideration that the shear bearing capacity of the beam may decrease when it is subjected to a moment and shear force.A study of the bearing capacities of the notched web connector in embedded composite beams shows that the connector is of a higher shear bearing capacity and the full shear connection can be easily achieved in embedded composite beams.

Abstract:Based on oneyear monitoring data measured by the structural health monitoring system of Donghai Bridge, the effect of environmental temperature on dynamic properties of cablestayed bridge was analyzed. At first, the distribution characteristics of environmental temperature were analyzed based on the monitoring data of environmental temperature. The environmental temperature was uniformly distributed along the longitudinal direction of bridge and there was also significant temperature gradient in the cross section of box girder. The influencing mechanism of environmental temperature on dynamic properties was theoretically analyzed and was validated by the monitoring data. The results demonstrate that the theoretical analysis is consistent with the monitoring data. Finally the thermal inertial effect of the environmental temperature on dynamic properties was analyzed based on AutoRegressive model with eXogenous inputs (ARX) model. The results show that there is time lag effect of temperature on dynamic properties and the time lag effect can be equivalently evaluated by multipoint temperature data.

      2011, 39(4):495-500. DOI: 10.3969/j.issn.0253-374x.2011.04.005

      Abstract (883) HTML (9) PDF 1.38 M (865) Comment (0) Favorites

Abstract:The paper presents a numerical analysis of the global mechanical behaviors of Sutong Bridge of China on the basis of the field static load tests. The results show that the bridge under the planned load test conditions is of good overall static properties and linear superposition characteristics, and incremental deflection is observed to be linearly proportional to incremental load. A good agreement is achieved between the experiential and analytical results such as displacements, stresses and cable forces. It is found that the measured maximum static deck deflections at the span centre is 1.388 m, maximum horizontal displacement of towers is 0.222 m, and maximum horizontal displacement of main girder is 0.107 m. Moreover, the stress level of the steel box girder under static loads is low, the longitudinal stress distributions of the slab and floor beam are nonuniform, the reasons for these phenomena include the shear lag effect and the influence of transversal slope of steel box girder as well as local stress effect of wheel load. And the Ushape ribs are of critical importance in fatigue damage assessment because of its alternating tensioncompression stresses.

      2011, 39(4):507-511. DOI: 10.3969/j.issn.0253-374x.2011.04.007

      Abstract (2087) HTML (96) PDF 808.25 K (798) Comment (0) Favorites

Abstract:Multicategory ordereddependentvariable logistic regression model was introduced into the rock mass classification.Based on rock mass samples data, rock uniaxial compressive strength, rock acoustic wave velocity, intensity of jointing, joint roughness coefficient, weathering variation coefficient of joint surface and permeability coefficient were chosen as independent variables, rock mass level was considered as dependent variable, then rock mass classification judgment formula was established.Goodness of fit and model predictive ability test were carried out to evaluate the model correctness. The results show that Logistic regression analysis model has excellent performance, misjudging rate of training samples is zero, and predictive ability is strong.Compared to the distance discriminant analysis, and linear regression analysis, Logistic regression analysis has no normal distribution restriction to independent variables, and it is theologically appropriate to analyze rock mass classification problems whose dependent variable is discrete ordered variable, the output of this method is probability value of all levels that rock mass belong to,which provides additional rock mass information to engineering designer. Thus multicategory ordereddependentvariable regression is a superior method for rock mass classification.

      Abstract (844) HTML (39) PDF 901.19 K (673) Comment (0) Favorites

Abstract:Based on the unified strength theory and elasticbrittleplastic model, analytical solutions of elasticplastic for circular hydraulic tunnel are introduced considering the principal stresses orders under different engineering conditions, different elastic moduli in tension and compression, the intermediate principal stress and softening. The influences of different tension and compression modulus ratios and the intermediate principal stresses on the critical pressure and ultimate pressure for hydraulic tunnels are discussed. The example analysis results show that the first principal stress should be reasonably considered,if different elastic moduli in tension and compression are neglected, large errors may be resulted in.Traditional elasticplastic solutions of hydraulic tunnel based on an assumption that the geotechnical materials have the same elastic moduli in tension and compression may bring out a more conservative engineering design.A consideration of different elastic moduli in tension and compression reflect the true mechanical property of geotechnical materials, therefore,an economic and safety design is obtained. This result provides some reference value for engineering design and a theory basis for the elastoplastic analysis circular hydraulic tunnels.

      2011, 39(4):524-528. DOI: 10.3969/j.issn.0253-374x.2011.04.010

      Abstract (872) HTML (31) PDF 954.82 K (575) Comment (0) Favorites

Abstract:A model to calculate bus delay at intersection with farside bus stop was first built, then a new bus signal priority control strategy was proposed. The system composed by intersection and farside bus stop was adopted as control object. A multiobjective model, composed by minimization schedule deviation and minimization average delay of other motor vehicles, was built. Two kinds of buses, “early bus” and “late bus” were considered in the optimization process of the model. Constrains including phase length, queue length, strategy adaptability and degree of saturation of every movements were also considered in the model. The results of a case study show that the efficiency of bus signal priority is affected evidently by the queue at farside bus stop. It may lead to a larger bus schedule deviation and priority invalidation if the queue at farside bus stop and bus status are neglected in the signal optimization process. With the proposed model, the above problems can be solved and the paretooptimal solution can be obtained.

      2011, 39(4):540-545. DOI: 10.3969/j.issn.0253-374x.2011.04.013

      Abstract (1052) HTML (47) PDF 1.08 M (895) Comment (0) Favorites

Abstract:When hot mixture asphalt(HMA) is used to remedy functional or structural deficiencies of existing joint plain concrete pavement(JPCP),reflection cracking is a major distress mode in HMA overlay. The basic mechanism of reflection cracking is the propagation of cracks through the overlay due to deflection difference at the joints vicinity of the existing pavements. The model of JPCP was created by three finite element method and the relationship between joint deflection difference and effects such as base modulus, elastic coefficient of spring elements was discussed.Based on the model of JPCP,the finite element model of asphalt overlay was created then and shear stress concentration phenomenon was founded at the bottom of HMA where was just above the joint of JPCP.So,the rule of the shear stress at the bottom of HMA with deflection difference was studied.According to Coulomb strength theory and shear fatigue equation of asphalt concrete, the criterion of deflection difference of existing JPCP was put forward by the method that allowable shear stress was less than ultimate strength. The criterion can provide reference for evaluating the transfer ability of JPCP when the asphalt concrete over JPCP is adopted.

      Abstract (928) HTML (17) PDF 1.09 M (825) Comment (0) Favorites

Abstract:The influence of hydraulic retention time (thr) on characteristics of dissolved organic matter (DOM) in membrane bioreactor used for restaurant wastewater treatment was studied through gel filtration chromatography (GFC) and excitationemission matrix fluorescence spectra analysis. Results show that the second peaks in GFC spectra of the effluent samples gradually move to the direction of the smaller molecular weight distribution. The molecular weight distribution becomes broader with the decreasing of thr.Meanwhile, molecular weight distribution of extracellular polymeric substances (EPS) in sludges is less affected by thr.The main fluorescent materials in raw water are high and lowexcitation wavelength tryptophan. However, the primary fluorescent substances in effluents are UV and visible fulviclike. With the decrease of thr, highexcitation wavelength tryptophan occurs in effluents of No.4,5 experimental devices. It is also found that the center of this tryptophan peaks are redshifted by 5 nm and 10 nm along the emission axis compared with the influent wastewater, respectively.

Abstract:A tidal flow and pollutant transport mathematical model was first established and verified by the measured data. Then, phosphate concentrations under six hydrological conditions (spring, middle and neap tides in the flood season; and spring, middle and neap tides in the dry season) were computed by this verified mathematical model, and the comparisons were made between the computed phosphate concentration at the boundary of the mixing zones and corresponding water quality standards. At last, the allowed discharge amount and cut rate of phosphate at outfalls were calculated. The research results show that the phosphate concentrations at the mixing zone boundaries of Douhe and Shahe rivers exceed their allowed standard values in the dry season, and the exceeding concentration occur in Shuanglonghe mixing zone and reclamation area in the flood season. The phosphate discharge amount from Douhe and Shahe rivers in the dry season and Shuanglonghe in the flood season must be cut down.

Abstract:A finite element model was established for analyzing 22MnB5 steel anisothemal drawing of square box at high temperatures. Based on the orthogonal experiment, the effect of tool temperatures, including die temperature, binder temperature and punch temperature, on the drawability of 22MnB5 steel was analyzed through the FE model. The results indicate that increasing the temperature of punch, die and holder all can improve the drawability of 22MnB5 steel. But the effect of the die temperature is the most significant while effect of punch temperature is not so pronounced. The effect of geometric parameters, including punch radius, die radius and corner radius, was also investigated. It has been found large dimension of punch and die radiuses have a positive effect on the drawability of 22MnB5 steel; a great corner radius can improve the antiwrinkle performance of the corner region.

In particular,a chromosome coding method is first designed to represent a feasible services selection solution, and then genetic operators and strategies are developed to maintain diversity of population and also avoid getting trapped in local optima. Finally, experimental results show that this algorithm can generate a set of nondominated Pareto optimal solutions which satisfy to users’ QoS requirements within a finite number of evolving generation. The adopted genetic strategies have good effect on maintaining diversity of population and increasing convergence of algorithm.

      2011, 39(4):606-613. DOI: 10.3969/j.issn.0253-374x.2011.04.026

      Abstract (1076) HTML (47) PDF 1.46 M (1154) Comment (0) Favorites

Abstract:Early cretaceouspaleocene geothermal gradients of Sichuan Basin are reconstructed from 27 vitrinite reflectance profiles. Results show that ancient geothermal gradients are between 20~25℃·km-1 and are higher in the eastern and southern regions of the basin than in the western and northern regions. According to comparison of ancient and Current geothermal gradients, geothermal gradients descended in eastern and northeastern but increased in the central and southern regions since the late Mesozoic, while kept unchanged in western Sichuan Basin since the early Cenozoic. According to the tectonic evolution in this area, thermal history of Sichuan Basin in the Mesozoic and Cenozoic was mainly affected by the late Permian tectonothermal event, the evolution of the lithospheric thickness since the late Mesozoic and the recent active tectonics. The late Permian tectonothermal event affected most parts of Sichuan Basin.Current active tectonics have significant impact on southern Sichuan, and the evolution of the lithosphere thickness may be the main factors influencing the MesozoicCenozoic thermal history of Sichuan Basin.

Abstract:The error of reduction to pole in the low magnetic latitude area was revealed, and a study was made of study simulated annealing inversion of magnetic data.By subdividing the grid into cube elements and filling them with magnetic field parameters, magnetic interface can be simulated and inversed. In combination with the nonlinear characteristics of simulated annealing algorithm,a study was made of the modeling method with easy and flexible way of adding constraints, and magnetic anomaly model was established with complex structure.Feasibility is proved through model test and field data processing
