Abstract:This study focused on equilibrium strategy of developer land rent-seeking game. At first, the classical Tullock rent-seeking game model was improved and got the rent-seeking games model based on different expectation of land value. Subsequently, the analysis of game equilibrium was conducted under equalization assessment and discrepancy assessment of land value and realized effective equilibrium strategy of rent-seeking games participant. This model can be used for the result forecast of rent-seeking games, which is benefit for the economical and reasonable use of social resources. Eventually, a practical example was provided to illustrate the validity and feasibility of this model.

Abstract:Generalpurpose nonlinear finiteelement model is characterized by its low efficiency and material,geometric and boundary nonlinear behaviors in shipbridge collision,which is unacceptable to engineers.An alternative timehistory approach is presented to rapidly and reliably evaluate the dynamic demand of bridge structure under ship impact.Energy conservation and momentum conservation equations are established based on the model of two degrees of freedom(DOFs).Then,based on energy conservation equation and the relationship between dynamic impact force to crush depth(namely,curve),the maximum crush depth is determined and the structural elastic potential energy is also discussed.According to the assumed timecrush depth relationship during loading and timeimpact force relationship during unloading,formulae of the time duration of loading and unloading under ship collision are obtained.A procedure of calculating the dynamic demand of bridges is proposed for practical project.Results show the dynamic responses of structure by the proposed method are in agreement with the shipbridge collision model,but the computation efficiency is improved obviously.

Abstract:Short cementsoil piles and long plastic drainage plates are used to form a new composite foundation,which is called as DM method.It not only improves the bearing capacity of the upper soft soil through the short soilcement piles,but also accelerates the consolidation process of the deep soft soil through the action of long plastic drainage plates.Field tests were carried out to research the consolidation characteristic of this composite foundation at A15 high way in Shanghai,and the test results such as the pore water pressure curves,settlement curves and pilesoil stress ratio curves were analyzed and some conclusions were drawn.The rate of the consolidation of the deep soft clay is greatly accelerated due to the drainage of the prefabricated vertical drain.The DM method improves the bearing capacity of the soft soil;and more than 80% consolidation settlement is finished during the construction period,which effectively reduces the residual settlement.

Abstract:Behavior of underpinning pile foundation is affected by unloading and rebound subject to deep excavation.Based on residual stress method and Mindlin solution,an analysis was made of the rebound of rigid pile and the distribution of shaft resistance under the condition of displacement compatibility and pile’s force balance when pile’s self weight was neglected.Analysis results indicate that pile’s displacement decreases as its length and diameter increase.Changes of pile’s diameter have little impact on the depth of neutral point and the distribution pattern of shaft resistance.The neutral point is becoming lower as pile length is increasing and the same with the rebound and recompression modulus.The rebound of underpinning pile increases as excavation depth increases and becomes gradual when pile length is relatively longer.Pile’s displacement decreases and then reaches a certain value as the modulus of soil rebound and recompression increases.

Abstract:Based on the unified solution of shear strength for unsaturated soil in terms of two state stress variables,analytical solutions of the critical load and Terzaghi’s ultimate bearing capacity for unsaturated soil strip foundation are obtained by taking into consideration the influences of intermediate principal stress,matric suction and overconsolidation ratio.The influence laws of the unified strength theory parameter,matric suction and overconsolidation ratio on the analytical solutions are discussed.The results show that the analytical solutions obtained in this paper have a good comparability to many existing results; the formula of critical load can be suitable for any lateral pressure coefficient; the critical load and Terzaghi’s ultimate bearing capacity increase significantly with the increasing of the unified strength theory parameter and matric suction; there is a linear increase relationship between the critical load and overconsolidation ratio,and the critical loads corresponding to different matric suction are parallel to each other.

Abstract:Based on the monitoring of the Longtou Mountain largespan tunnel surrounding rock pressure,a study is made of the relationship of vertical pressure,buried depth and surrounding rock grade.The road tunnel design code method,M M theory method and Bilbawumyer theory method are respectively used to calculate the surrounding rock pressure.In the rock grades IV or V,the value calculated by M M theory method and the actual value are about the same,the value calculated by the road tunnel design code method and the value calculated by Bilbawumyer theory method are greater than the actual value; in the rock grade Ⅱ or Ⅲ,the value calculated by the road tunnel design code method and the actual value are about the same,the value calculated by M M theory method value is smaller than the actual value,and the value calculated by Bilbawumyer theory method is greater than the actual value; in the relationship of surrounding rock pressure and buried depth,the variation trends of the road tunnel design code method value and Bilbawumyer theory method value are similar to the actual value,but they are greater than the actual value.the value calculated by M M theory method is close to the average actual value.The applicability of different calculation methods of surrounding rock pressure is studied for the largespan tunnel,which provides a reference for largespan tunnel design.

Abstract:Evacuation of highspeed train fires in tunnels is becoming a wide concerned issue.The paper first presents different modes of evacuation during train tunnel fires and discussion on the safety criteria of evacuations for passengers. Based on the computational fluid dynamics(CFD),a simulation test was made of the spread of gas temperature and smoke with time in tunnels and the railcars when a train continued rolling after a fire.The results show that the wind caused by the moving train controls the track of the gas and smoke of the fire.All the gas and smoke move downstream instead of moving upstream,so the upstream railcars are safe when the train continues rolling for evacuation,and the gas temperature and smoke in downstream railcars keep up increasing with time.The fire heart rease rate(HRR)and train velocity have important effects on the rate of gas and smoke spread in the downstream railcar during the evacuation.

Abstract:A fuzzy analytic hierarchy process(AHP)method was proposed to determine the rational express railway location in a karst region.Based on the analysis and investigation of factors affecting the express railway location in karst region,4 first grade indexes and 13 second grade indexes were conducted to establish the index system for synthesis evaluating project.The AHP method was used to construct the hierarchy relationship with the influence factors and to set up their hierarchy structures,and then the weight of every influence factors was computed based on the judge matrix fuzzy sets method.After all grades were acquired by means of geological investigations and laboratory or field tests,the matrix of the membership comparative degree was calculated by iterative logical arithmetic.A synthetic assessment model was made to estimate the express railway location.The comparative synthetic superior degrees for the location of Xiongcun—Hezhou section in GuizhouGuangzhou express railway are 0.131,0.889 and 0.581 respectively according to this method,and the second location becomes best.The results show distinctly that the fuzzyAHP method is valid and feasible to select the express rail location in karst regions.

Abstract:In order to determine the reasonable number of midtown berths to not only satisfy the need of basic trips but also be able to restrain excessive trips causing network congestions,an analysis was first made of the trip behavior of drivers under a restricted supply of parking berths,and different attributes of drivers were defined to characterize the trip desirability and decision behavior of different drivers.Then,a model for optimizing the number of parking berths was constructed to satisfy the maximum parking demand and to maximize berth utilization within the maximum capacity of road network.The solution of the model was introduced.A numerical example shows that with the model the optimal number of parking berths of the midtown can be determined,which can provide scientific bases for parking demand management.

Abstract:By using EMR8B,a lot of driving experiments were conducted in the mountain roads whose radius is continuously variable.The visual demand of drivers are evaluated by eye fixation distribution index(EFDI),average deviation of horizontal visual angle(AVEDEV),eye fixation intensity and other indexes of drivers’ eye movements.The results indicate that the information that the drivers get from the highway with small horizontal curvature radius and intersection angle is more than that from other horizontal curves,and the level of the driver’s viewpoint and horizontal visual angle are not well adapted to the requirements of alignment combination variety,and for the curve with small horizontal curvature radius and intersection angle,the radius should be more than 125 m,and the road center corner should be more than 120°.

Abstract:With the increasing conflicts of the urban water supply and demand,and the integration of urban water supply and water disposal,water balance is important for integrated urban water management.First,hierarchy structure was developed;the urban water system model is integrated by innerbuilding submodel,outerbuilding submodel and pipework submodel.Second,urban water performance indicators were presented and categorized to environmental,economical and social service indicators.Third,excelbased water balance program was compiled.Finally,a case study was made of SH City.Computation results show that the water balance model is practical and operable.

Abstract:Because of large rainfall and rainwater harvesting area of Zhuhai in flood season,a reasonable distribution of the reservoir water supply and an effective use of rainfall are key in raw water system operation.According to the coexistence of the river and reservoirs,and the connectivity of reservoirs in distributed complex multisource raw water system,a mathematical model,which aims to minimize energy consumption for water pumping stations and diminish water level difference between reservoir operation level and control level,was built and solved by the genetic algorithm.The results show that with the optimized scheduling scheme,the actual scheduling results are realized,and the energy consumption decreases.

Abstract:A study was made of the effect of ultraviolet rays(UV)irradiation on the inactivation and photosynthetic activity of microcystic aeruginosa,and an investigation was made into the change of water quality in the algae solution.Results show that the inactivating efficiency increases with the increasing of UV fluence,but the photosynthetic activity decreases exponentially with the increasing of UV fluence.Under the algae concentration of 35×108(cell)·L-1,the algae is suppressed effectively at the UV fluence of 91.8 mJ·cm-2.The corresponding optimum irradiation duration is 10 min.The concentration of microcystic aeruginosa determines its inactivation,and the removal efficiency of the algae with high concentration is more obvious.UV radiation is less influential on the UV254 of algae solution.With the increasing of UV radiation intensity,the removal of DOC presents an initial increase and then a decrease.

Abstract:A simplyconstructed alternate aerated pond was proposed based on the integration of Unitank,trichannel oxidation ditch and aerated pond.Results show that the side tank plays key role in denitrification and dephosphorization,and the ideal performance can only be achieved by artful setting for inflow and aeration in side tank.Under the optimized control mode,cycling time=6h,ratio of inflowside tank to inflowmiddle tank=2,ratio of aeration time to inflow time for the whole system=1,and ratio of aeration time to inflow time for side tank=0.5.Running by this mode can maintain the activity and concentration of sludge,and attain a good balance of denitrification and dephosphorization,so that effluent reached Level-1 B of China’s Discharge standard of pollutants for municipal wastewater treatment plant.By two years’ full scale operation,simplyconstructed alternate aerated pond is proved to be a useful method for water pollution control in Chinese rural towns with its advantages of low cost,simple maintenance and good effluent quality.

Abstract:Visiblelight photocatalysis composite adsorption material was prepared by combining activated carbon and nitrogendoped TiO2 by impregnation method.The study results show that the droped nitrogen in TiO2 has improved the visiblelight absorption activity,the activated carbon adsorption is a plausible method for the removal of formaldehyde in the air,the loading of nitrogendoped TiO2 on activated carbon has trifling effect to adsorption process in low concentration of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) condition and nitrogendoped TiO2activated carbon material has excellent visiblelight photocatalytic activity.The results show that this kind of material splits absorption and photocatalysis apart and improve the reuse performance of activated carbon.

Abstract:Voids in coarse aggregate of asphalt mixtures(VCAmix)is one of the most important volumetric properties of asphalt mixtures.Digital image processing technique is adopted to distinguish the coarse and fine aggregate with red stones as coarse aggregates and common stones as fine aggregates.Further more,the specimen is cut into slices and probability statistics theory is used to put forward a method that calculating the coarse aggregate’s volume distribution in 3D space from its area distribution in 2D section.At last,how to determine the number of slices and the relation between slices and the guarantee rate is introduced.Results show 40 slices can satisfy the requirement of engineering accuracy.

Abstract:The drawing quality could be improved effectively by a reasonable drawbead restraining force,so the controllable drawbead technology was put forward to improve the formability of high strength steel(HSS).The JAC590Y HSS was selected as an example and three different types of drawbead trajectories to the formability effects were investigated by orthogonal tests and numerical simulation.The optimal type trajectory,ascenthaltdescent,was determined according to the limit drawing depth.The main influence factors H1,H2 were obtained by range analysis and the numerical simulation results indicate that the three types of drawbead trajectories can all improve the formability of HSS.Then the genetic algorithm back propagation(GABP)neural network of controllable drawbead trajectory factorslimit drawing depth was constructed by test data of the optimal type trajectory.The estimated values of the limite drawing depth were close to the simulation data and the errors were within 5%.

Abstract:Rattling,a nonlinear vibration,is an irregular vibration phenomenon when gear is unloaded which is the main source of the gearbox noise.A stochastic damping Rattling system was considered.Discrete stochastic model described by mean maps was established with nonGaussian truncation technique.Matlab program and experiment are applied to analyzing the dynamic response of this model.The result shows that the model will be stochastic chaos under some parameters and the power spectral density of average velocity is wideband process,and gearbox noise can be controlled by adjusting the intensity of stochastic damping.

Abstract:Based on studies of lowpressure proton exchange membrane(PEM) fuel cell with orthogonal test,a conclusion is drawn that the effects on fuel cell performance by hydrogen humidity and equivalent proportion are so small that they can be neglected compared to the effects of air humidity,air equivalent proportion and fuel cell operating temperature.The effect on fuel cell performance by air equivalent proportion,the most complicated one among the five operating parameters of fuel cell,changes with the working condition of fuel cell.With the increasing of current,the effect on fuel cell performance by air equivalent proportion is strengthening.When the current reaches a higher level(120A),the impact will be weakened.

Abstract:Hexapod wallclimbing biorobot based on wet adhesion principle is characterized by a complex structure with more control outputs and being more difficlt to coordinate the action.Based on bionic principles,a hierarchical control system and its design were proposed,the design was verified with experiments.Based on Saridis’ hierarchical intelligent control theory in combination with pratical control requirements,a special hierarchical control system suitable for this wet adhesion wallclimbing robot was established;then,control levels of this robot were precisely introduced,and designs of main levels were analyzed.Experiment results show that this system can meet the wallclimbing control requirements of the robots,and it can also control a good contact between the robot’s limb ends and the climbing surface.Further more,rhythmic motion offers faster action implementations,and the hierarchical modular design is conducive to the further expansion of the robot’s control system.

Abstract:The study of the traction network fault location using the transient component can achieve better results than those using traditional methods.The paper presents a study of the relations between the high frequency parts of the transient components and the fault locations to apply the double lines of traction network.The correlative curve between the fault locations and the resonance frequency of the equivalent impedances at the beginning of the traction lines was analyzed through soft simulations.The resonance frequency of the transient component of voltage signals was proved to be the same as the resonance frequency of the equivalent impedances at the beginning of the traction lines.Morlet complex wavelet was utilized to get the resonance frequency of the transient component of the voltage signal.The fault point was located by using the correlative curve between the fault locations and the resonance frequency of the equivalent impedances at the beginning of the traction lines.

Abstract:This paper presents a study of a flying robot for overhead powerline inspection trajectory generation method based on Markov model.A hierarchical Markov decisionmaking process model based on state clustering method,which combines the basic standards of flying robot for overhead powerline inspection and a high degree of stratification,is presented.The original flight trajectory will be a new one that is consistent with its dynamics constraint.Finally,the methods and strategies are applied to the simulation tools to verify their validity and correctness.

Abstract:Wind speed data was reconstructed in phasespace based on chaos theory.The embedding dimension and delay time were first calculated via the CC method.The correlative dimension of attractor was then calculated with the GP method.Finally,the largest Lyapunov exponent of wind speed time series was calculated on the basis of the improved small data sets method.The wind speed is found to be of chaotic property,therefore,the chaosbased prediction method is recommanded to further improve the prediction accuracy of wind speed time series in wind farm.

Abstract:During the fault diagnosis process of the induction motor fed with variable frequency power,the fault related characteristic components are often submerged by the strong power supply due to the frequency of variability.According to the operation model of constant acceleration and constant deceleration in the speed regulation process,a fault diagnosis method is proposed for identifying the operation mode on the basis of HilbertHuang transformation method(HHT)and timefrequency transforming with the generalized Fourier transform,and the frequency signal of power line can convert to the constant frequency signal of the new timefrequency domain.Simulation shows that the method can highlight the fault features.

Abstract:A dynamic scheduling system for oil refineries was developed based on event logic.Dynamic events were defined and corresponding event logics were generated by analyzing practical production event characteristics and event treatment experiences of scheduling experts.Based on event logic and generalized disjunctive programming,a dynamic scheduling model was constructed.The event logic based modeling method can raise the rapidity and flexibility to formulate dynamic scheduling models,and can give a better solution to meet realtime requirements and optimization performance.The developed dynamic scheduling system was used to address the scheduling problem of an oil refinery with an event of crude oil shortage.Numerical results show that the event logicbased dynamic scheduling system is feasible and effective.

Abstract:The building electricity energy consumption models were established based on the analysis of building electricity energy consumption.Data were collected by hours about the office equipment energy consumption,lighting energy consumption and number of people.Investigations were made into the building management modes.Based on the collected data,a close relationship between equipment electricity energy consumption and number of people was found and the linear regression model was then developed.Lighting energy consumption was found to be related with number of people and solar radiation intensity,but the relationship was nonlinear.A classification model was developed with the decision tree algorithm.With the models,electricity consumption can be predicted hourly and the impact of building management mode on power demands can be assessed.

Abstract:In the past,most of the wireless sensor network (WSN) applications were limited to data collection,and less attention was paid on the collaboration in the network.The weak support of the existing WSN routing algorithm for dynamic in network can not meet the service requirements of the distributed wireless networks and wireless sensor network applications.Based on a comprehensive consideration of the quality of service (QoS) indicators,and a routing search according to an intelligent particle swarm optimization(PSO)algorithm.New algorithm provides a very good search capabilities.The simulation results show that the PSObased routing with a comprehensive QoS indicator improves well the service quality.

Abstract:The Ricci flow equation on n dimensional complete noncompact Khler manifolds is studied by solving the PoincaréLelong equation,if the following condition is satisfied:∫r0skt(x,s)ds≤qC log(2+r),then a necessary and sufficient condition for the existence of the immortal solution to the Ricci flow at any meric t time is obtained.It extends the result of Reference[1]that they get a necessary and sufficient condition for the existence of the immortal solution to the Ricci flow at metric t=0 time.
